Junior Improv Camp - August Session
Our Junior Improv Camp is designed exclusively for students entering 3rd through 5th Grade. This dynamic course is tailored to introduce and perfect the fundamental techniques of improvisational theater, fostering creativity, teamwork and building life long communication skills!
Throughout the program, students will delve into essential concepts such as active listening, the power of "yes, and...", and collaborative team-building skills. Whether your future comedian is a natural class clown or someone seeking to get out of their shell, this class offers a supportive environment for honing any young student’s comedic sensibilities and refining their stage skills.
While we're unable to accommodate parents auditing the class due to space limitations, rest assured, you'll be thrilled to witness the final product at their student showcase! All family and friends are encouraged to attend!
This class will be taught by Annie Jackson!
Annie is a seasoned improv instructor with a wealth of experience in both improv techniques and child development, this course offers a unique blend of laughter and learning. Annie graduated from UWEC with a degree in music education and has extensive experience in teaching adaptive music, piano, voice and more and specializes in individualized growth for her students. Annie’s unique ability to meet her students where they are at and bring the best out of them have made her a highly sought after teacher in working with students of all different abilities.
Under Annie's guidance, students will delve into the building blocks of improv and collaborative team-building and communication skills. Annie's individualized approach ensures that each student receives personalized attention while fostering a strong group dynamic, making this class a must for any young student!
